Some of the best things about our community start with the people we know.

The business owner who remembers your name. The colleague who encourages you to try something new. The local team that shows up when the community needs a hand. These everyday connections are part of what makes the South Okanagan feel like home.

This year's theme, Rooted in Excellence, celebrates those connections and the stories that grow from them. We'd love you to be part of the evening.

Join us for the 39th Annual Business Excellence Awards Gala, presented by Doane Grant Thornton LLP, on January 30, 2027, at the Penticton Trade & Convention Centre. We'll share dinner, enjoy entertainment and cheer on the businesses, organizations and community leaders being recognized in 10 award categories.

Our celebration was originally planned for October 24, 2026. Following the summer wildfires and evacuations, we extended the awards timeline to give nominees more time to participate while caring for their businesses, families and communities.

Bring the people you work with, invite friends or come ready to meet someone new. Whether you know a nominee or simply want to celebrate the place we call home, you're welcome to join us.

Dress for an evening out, with a little inspiration from Rooted in Elegance cocktail or semi-formal attire, and perhaps a touch of florals, colour or sparkle.

Early bird tickets are available until November 30: $139 per person or $1,112 for a table of eight, plus GST.
